Each year, The Office of Student Care and Conduct (OSCC) fields several request for presentations. To ensure we are able to accommodate as many requests as possible, we have created the form below for easy request access for the MTSU community. Presentation Types

Student Care and Conduct Informational

  • This presentation covers the basics of what the Office of Student Care and Conduct does to support the MTSU community on a day to day basis. The Student Care and Conduct Informational provides a general overview of all services, how to access the available resources, and how care and conduct cases are carried out.

Care Process ONLY

  • This presentation highlights the CARE Referral process, what concerns are typical for the process, and how each case is managed once received.

Student Rules/ Student Conduct ONLY

  • This presentation covers what constitutes a conduct policy violation and how conduct cases are handled once they reach OSCC. Additionally, there is information on what does not constitute a violation and alternative methods of remedying or mediating concerns.

De-Escalation/ Conflict Management

  • This training focuses on the role of conflict in day to day like and how our various styles of conflict management influence how we interact with others. Real-World scenarios are provided to encourage discussion and critical thinking using de-escalation strategies.

Bystander Intervention

  • Bystander Intervention training, focuses on what the bystander effect is and how to combat it with bystander intervention strategies. The strategies are discussed through looks like and how to respond appropriately and safely.
