M.A. Organizational Leadership, Western Kentucky University
M.Ed. Higher Education Administration, University of Toledo
I began my career at MTSU in October 2016 within University College and transitioned to the Office of Student Care and Conduct in August 2021. With over 15 years of experience in various student-focused roles, including residence life, student conduct, student advocacy, and academic advising, I am deeply passionate about fostering student growth and development. I strive to meet students where they are, challenge their perspectives and behaviors, and support them throughout their college experience. Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with family, traveling, and taking on DIY home projects.
Lisa Simons, Administrative Assistant
I joined MTSU in November 2007 and worked as secretary for the Student Government Association. In April 2010 I became an Administrative Assistant for the Office of Student Care and Conduct.
MTSU is the perfect place for me to work because I am a mother of 3 children, grandmother of 2, and have always loved being around children of all ages. In the Office of Student Care and Conduct I feel that my love for children helps me make students feel at ease when they come to our office for conduct meetings.
Working at MTSU is very rewarding opportunity for me, and I love working at such a great university!
